HAN Robotics is an R&D company established in September 2025 at Yıldız Technical University Technopark to design the autonomous technologies of the future with a national and innovative perspective. It aims to develop high-tech, cost-effective, and reliable subsystems in every field touched by robotics and automation, especially in the defense industry. By combining the latest developments in the academic world and open-source technologies with practical needs in the field, it aims to contribute to Turkey's technological independence.

Our Flagship VIGU

HAN Robotics' initial activity is the development of an all-in-one hardware and software platform introduced as VIGU (Visual and Inertial Guidance Unit).

The Problem in the Market:

Today's autonomous system manufacturers often depend on high-cost hardware like Nvidia, which is difficult to source and creates license dependency, for their image processing needs. Moreover, these hardware units do not offer a standalone solution; they require an autopilot unit to control motors, power circuits, and a complex integration process.

The VIGU Solution:

VIGU is a revolutionary approach that solves this problem at its root:

All-in-One Design: Combines the image processing computer, real-time processor, IMU, and Barometer sensors on a single board. Unlike competing products, it eliminates the need to purchase and integrate separate autopilot and mission computers.
Ultra-Lightweight and Compact: Weighs only 70 grams despite all these capabilities.
Cost and Supply Advantage: Uses readily available consumer electronics hardware instead of expensive, licensed hardware. This provides our customers with advantages in both cost and supply chain continuity.
Flexible Software Support: Software for target locking, guidance, autonomous flight, and position detection, tailored to our customers' needs, can be developed by HAN Robotics and remotely uploaded and updated on VIGU.

Our Founder

A graduate of Yıldız Technical University Mechatronics Engineering, has pursued graduate studies at Koç University and Istanbul Technical University. He began his professional career in the Defense Industry in 2017, quickly taking on significant responsibilities.

In August 2025, he transformed his field experience and insights into market needs into an entrepreneurial journey by founding HAN Robotics to offer compact and innovative products to Turkish industry.
